"We can and have to restore Public Confidence in the Judicial Authorities" the First Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared during TRC "Era" broadcasting giving comment on the social investigation according to the results of which 10% of respondent trust Ukrainian court system, one third part says certainly "no" and the majority of respondents answers: "yes, but it is rather expensive".
According to O. Lavrynovych, "from the year 1994 to the year 2002 the way path of distrust to its power branch was built". "We perfectly understand the reasons of this distrust basement".
Giving answers to the journalists question whether judge Zvarych in Ukrainian history is strange or everyday occurrence, O. Lavrynovych declared that "unfortunately it is the systemic occurrence. It has revealed due to certain unknown conditions, but there are "bigger" images in such case then that one judge. "
Speaking about the practice of court judgment non implementation, O. Lavrynovych declared: All the juridical acts should be implemented, otherwise there is no need in court". Still he mentioned that "introducing amendments to the laws, unfortunately it can not be changed. According to him the essential role in the cases plays two parts: "inevitable punishment and appreciation of the notions that comprise the juridical culture in people who work with law".
O. Lavrynovych is convinced in the necessity of considerable amendments introduction to the national court system
Giving answers to the questions concerning the solution of problem issues of court system and judge status on the legislative level, O. Lavrynovych explained: "They (bills red.) are in the waiting regime before the first and second reading depending on the political weather in Ukraine".
Speaking about the necessary changes in the Ukrainian court system, O. Lavrynovych stressed: "We have choice, we may go one ay when we will have next decision between total collapse and dictatorship, in such a case there is no need in courts. On another hand we have opportunity to go on the path of hard steps and challenges for the democracy preserving. If we chose the second path then we will have future in court system that is an essential part of the state mechanism".
